WOW....

Time flies when your having fun! Well, not really, but anyway, Its been a crazy October for sure, I finally got in the woods for the first time October 30, it was awesome to get out and see some critters. I drew on a big doe twice but couldnt make the shot happen. Just to darn thick to squeeze an arrow through. Oh well, of course first thing that morning at 15 yards I had a doe broadside, and the bow was about 4 feet from my hand. Sooooo, I simply did what anyone else would have done, grabbed the bow and spun around quick to see if I could get a shot off but she was havin none of it. She never blew, but bounced off and never did come back.

Sunday was much the same, but didnt end up seein anything.....Oh well. I am off to Panama City FL for the next 6 weeks which really makes me mad, but when Uncle Sam says ya gotta go, ya gotta go so I will miss rut and all, wont be home till December 18th, so with any luck I will be in the woods that weekend for some late bow season action! I will keep ya posted!

How is everyones season going??

Sorry its been so long!

Have you all ever had a period of time when things just seem to take off full throttle and you are just along for the ride? Well, honestly, that is what has been going on. The season came in the 12th of September, and I have not been in the woods one time. For one, its been in the high eightys during the day and only in the 70's in the evenings....Sooo, the motivation is sort of slim to none, buuuut I am planning on trying to get out this weekend, but its still hot, so who knows.....

I hope that your all having a great season if its in where you are!! The good news is I did get my Reezen set up and shooting an unreal 303 fps with a 362 grain arrow at 71# with a 27" draw....I will post some pix when I get a chance!!!

Bow season is HERE!

Well, not quite, but in 2 weeks here in GA, it will be on!! I know it is hard to get out there and sit in a tree when it is 75 when the sun comes up and then by 10am it is pushing the 90* mark, but I think that you will find that there can be some added advantages to getting out early! I unfortuenately will not be out that first weekend due to some prior commitments, but hopefully the following weekend I will be in my home away from home 20' in a tree and enjoying the scenery!

I hope all of you are looking forward to the up and coming season with high hopes and dreams of huge bucks and memories that will last a lifetime!

Sold my Baby!

You know, sometimes you have to make sacrifices to get things you want, so with much regret I sold my Drenalin to pay for a lease with a friend, but I think that I will make out a bit better....LOL, soooo I will be settin up my Reezen 6.5 this week....will post pix when I get her done!

Hey everyone! I know its been a minute since I posted, Whew!!! Been hella busy at the shop, with the season only a month out we are cookin at the bowshop!! Ive got a new lease this year, and I am really anxious to get out and hang stands, but the 90* heat is just too much and the long rattle thingys are out in abundance!!! Since I bow hunt, I will start this thing out!! I am very curious what everyone is shooting?
